Workshop: The Baltic Sea Region and the Cold War
On 27–28 November 2010, an international workshop on the Cold War and the Baltic Sea region is held at the University of Tartu, Estonia.
The aim of the research programme Nordic Spaces: Formation of States, Societies and Regions, Cultural Encounters, and Idea and Identity Production in Northern Europe after 1800 is to generate new research on Northern Europe and research collaboration within the region.

Researchers from the Baltic Regionalism project has published a new book with German publisher Lit-Verlag. The book deals with border changes in contemporary European history, and in the thirteen case studies, scholars show how boundary changes played an important role in the formation of European regions.
